A free Butterfield Libray card is available to people who live, work, own property, or go to school in the Town of Philipstown, with proof of identification and status. Just stop by and present valid photo identification with your current address. If valid photo identification is not available, two forms of i.d. may be required, such as a bill or a report card addressed to you.Your Library card is renewable every three years.
Your card allows you to borrow materials from any library in the Mid-Hudson Library System. It also gives you access to the Butterfield Library purchases for you. Most of these online resources are available from your home computer via the Internet.
Please note that you are responsible for all items checked out on your card. Call the Library District immediately if your card is lost or stolen. There is no charge for a replacement card the first time; subsequent replacement cards may be subject to fees.
